Our Mission is Simple

Help provide support to K.I.D.S from disadvantage environments whose parents or legal guardians are battling cancer or who have lost their battle with a cancer related illness.

Purpose

So many foundations focus on research...we focus on the K.I.D.S (Keeping Individual Dreams Supported) by supporting them with the help they need to further their education and to go on with life and be productive even though cancer has impacted their life in such a major way. Our foundation helps with school tuition, books, prescriptions, travel, counseling, funeral arrangements etc.​

Background

Patsy and Lawrence showed love to so many children of all different races and ages. For over (14) fourteen years Patsy and Lawrence opened their home up to children that needed to be loved and cared for, so this foundation honors her legacy and his struggle. We want to give back to children in desperate need of support during a critical time in their lives.

 

​The Patsy R. Skinner Cancer Foundation (PRS) was founded in February 2002 in memory of the late Patsy R. Skinner who lost her battle with Breast Cancer and Lawrence Skinner who is now battling Prostate Cancer.​
